One area that receives a surprising level of attention is the amount and the cost of watering athletic fields. Schools are passionate about their playing fields and school districts are typically willing to provide resources to make them attractive and maintain the surfaces for student safety. More often than not, there is not a connection between those who operate the irrigation systems at each school and those responsible for paying the water bill.
